MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up the workstation for various banquets and buffets.
- Preparing, cooking, and seasoning dishes as per recipes and by applying appropriate techniques.
- Assembling various buffets in compliance with the Club’s standards.
- Maintaining food storage and preparation areas.
- Effectively communicating with the station chef and the rest of the banquet team.
- Applying health and hygiene regulations, along with occupational health and safety standards.
- Carrying out all other tasks required for the proper running of the kitchen.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a DVS in cooking or have equivalent experience
- Be quick, efficient, and work well under pressure
- Experience with a catering/events/fine dining company (an asset)
- Be hard-working
- Have good physical capability
- Be autonomous and resourceful
- Be a good team player
- Communicate well in French
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The cook will be required to work mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on events.
