Proud of its 105 years of existence, Club Laval-sur-le-Lac is looking for employees to fill available positions within the kitchen team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Setting up the workstation for various banquets and buffets.
Preparing, cooking, and seasoning dishes as per recipes and by applying appropriate techniques.
Assembling various buffets in compliance with the Club’s standards.
Maintaining food storage and preparation areas.
Effectively communicating with the station chef and the rest of the banquet team.
Applying health and hygiene regulations, along with occupational health and safety standards.
Carrying out all other tasks required for the proper running of the kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS

Hold a DVS in cooking or have equivalent experience
Be quick, efficient, and work well under pressure
Experience with a catering/events/fine dining company (an asset)
Be hard-working
Have good physical capability
Be autonomous and resourceful
Be a good team player
Communicate well in French

WORKING CONDITIONS

The cook will be required to work mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on events.
